Manatee Community Blood Center is now a part Florida Blood Services, a non-profit organization. 750 blood donations are needed every week day of the year to meet local requirements. FBS relies exclusively on volunteer blood donors.
Blood received here is used in the community, and for emergency purposes wherever needed.
