We are open every morning at 7:30 am with Classic Breakfast Menu.
Lunch begins at 11am - our Lunch Menu has something for everyone.
Cafe Galante on St. Armands Circle sits in the same space as the ever popular Hungry Fox Restaurant. The Hungry Fox was in business for over 25 years with great success, but the space was aging and needed a face lift. So we remodeled the restaurant, and decided it would be good to update the name and add a dinner menu!

Cafe Galante is still serving the same great breakfast and lunch items that the Hungry Fox was known for (with great prices as well!) but we have added a few new items and a full dinner menu! Our chefs came over straight from Italy and we gave them free reign - Cafe Galante may quickly become a favorite for Italian food in Sarasota!
Along with the delicious Italian food, we have added an authentic Lebanese menu, fashioned traditionally as "mezze" (much like tapas) so you can enjoy a variety of Lebanese food to share with the table!
As for the new name and look, Cafe Galante needed a light & friendly modern feel, yet stay unpretentious! Our choice for the Olive in the logo was simple - the olive is and has been a staple in cooking around the world and it is a symbol of peace and well being - just like a great meal with friends and family!
