Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center is a non-profit agency that provides services to victims of domestic violence and sexual battery in Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. See all of our locations.

Since SPARCC was created in August 1979, professional staff and trained volunteers have been on duty 24 hours a day answering calls for help from victims of domestic violence and rape. To date, 39,698 calls for help have been answered. Those who benefit directly from our services are the many victims of domestic violence and rape, their families, and their abusers.
